Malaysia’s RTM takes out the National OH&S Excellence Award for second year running

Malaysia’s national broadcaster, Radio Television Malaysia, (RTM) has won the National Occupational Health and Safety Excellence Awards for the second year in a row.

RTM’s Director General Norhyati Ismail said this proved that the broadcaster has made safety in the workplace a priority, benefitting both staff and contractors.

She said the award will spur RTM to further improve its safety and health aspect to ensure its staff is always at the top of the profession.

She also called on the station’s more than 4,000 staff to work together in order to maintain their productivity and performance level.
