SBS, Broadcast Australia join forces for charity bike ride

Broadcast Australia CEO, Graeme Barclay and SBS Australia CEO, Michael Ebeid, will be riding in the Sydney to Wollongong MS Bike Ride for the second year in a row. The pair will be riding the 90km course on Sunday 4 November as members of the joint SBS-BA Cycle Safari team.

The SBS-BA Cycle Safari team is the biggest team in this year’s Sydney to the Gong ride, with 166 members. Broadcast Australia CEO, Graeme Barclay said, “I am once again looking forward to riding in the Gong MS Bike Ride alongside our industry partners, SBS. The Gong MS Bike Ride is a unique opportunity for Broadcast Australia and SBS to join forces and give back to the community”

SBS CEO, Michael Ebeid said, “I’m excited to be taking on the challenge of the 90 kilometre ride once again. It is important to support causes which affect so many in the community and SBS and Broadcast Australia are proud to be working together to help make a real difference.”

The Sydney to Wollongong ride is an annual fundraising event which supports people living with multiple sclerosis. This year’s fundraising goal for stands at $4.5 million AUD, with more than $2.7 million raised so far.
