ABU’s Digital Broadcasting Conference kicks off in Yangon

The 2012 Digital Broadcasting Conference for Asian Broadcasters opened this morning in Yangon with a two day workshop on digital broadcast technology.

Jointly organized with the ABU member Forever Group (Myanmar), the 3-day event is being held at the Myanmar-Info Tech.  The day commenced with two workshop streams on DVB digital TV and DAB digital radio transmission technologies.

The event will culminate in a full day conference on Wednesday 21 November, to be inaugurated by the Hon. Deputy Minister of Information for Myanmar. More than 130 broadcasting professionals from Myanmar and other ASEAN countries are participating during the three days.
