Malaysia’s Femina channel to be available FTA in 2013

Malaysia’s Panomax is bringing the country’s first channel specifically designed for women, from Web TV to free to air television in early 2013. 

Femina Channel is a family channel specially tailored for the female community in Malaysia and the world over. The channel aims to provide TV programs catering to female viewers from young adults to mature audiences. It broadcasts local and international content including reality shows, documentaries and drama series as well as daily news.

Channel owner Panomax (M) Sdn Bhd Managing Director Mohd Johari Mohd Noor said the new venture would be a free, 24-hour channel.

“We are producing and sourcing creative content from both locally and abroad with international standards and meet the discerning viewers’ expectations in terms of quality, entertainment and benefits, he said.

Femina Channel currently available on Web TV and will be available via cable & satellite broadcast services in early 2013.
