MCA launches Havoc Television in Asia

Multi Channels Asia (MCA), Asia-Pacific’s distributor of independent pay television channels, announced the launch of Havoc Television (Havoc 247) linear channel in Asia-Pacific, mediaresearchasia.com reports.

Through several carriage deals with ABN (Malaysia), Mediacorp Toggle (Singapore), Skymedia (Mongolia), Sky (Sri Lanka), Phnom Penh Cable Television (Cambodia), Skynet (Myanmar) and MeTV (Thailand), Havoc 247 is the first linear social TV channel to launch in the region.

Havoc 247 features a combination of fast action sports – such as skate, snowboarding, surfing and an eclectic mix of indie music – such as hip hop, alternative, reggae, punk, metal, and electronic – as well as exclusive ‘LIVE’ music concerts and events.

The channel integrates Facebook and Twitter and displays live feeds from artists, athletes as well as viewers on-screen creating a live, interactive, global conversation.
