Iran calls for close cooperation with Pakistan media organisations

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast called for close cooperation between the media organizations of Iran and Pakistan to counter negative media coverage of the two Islamic countries.

He made the remarks in his meetings with Pakistani Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Rashid Ahmad and Pakistan Television Managing Director Yousaf Baig Mirza.

Expressing his views, Mehmanparast said that media can play a vital role in building the public opinion.”The cooperation between the media of Islamic states is of paramount importance,this trip helped us to have better information about Pakistan.”

He said that Iran is ready to send media delegations to Islamabad to make reports on Pakistan.
