Endemol appoints MD for Asia

Fotini Paraskakis, formerly the director of content for FremantleMedia Asia, has been tapped to serve as the managing director for Endemol’s Asian operations.

In her role at FremantleMedia Asia, Paraskakis was managing the creative, production and content for formats in the region, including Idols, Got Talent and The X Factor. She also created and supervised the first-ever Asia-wide event Asian Idol. At Endemol, Paraskakis will be responsible for Endemol’s creative, production and format sales activities across Asia.

Paraskakis  said: “Endemol is a creative powerhouse with great prospects for further growth in Asia. The industry here is hungry for ideas and Endemol’s shows have already proven to be enormously popular with audiences throughout the region. I’m thrilled to be part of the team and I’m enormously looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
