Radio Television Malaysia to broadcast 2013 Le Tour de Langkawi in HD

Radio Television Malaysia (RTM), the host broadcaster for the 2013 Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL), will use high definition (HD) broadcasts to boost the quality of live telecast of the prestigious cycling event.  

With the existing broadcasting facilities, RTM will provide a HD OB van and MCP HD for direct telecast of the LTdL.

Information, Communication and Culture Ministry Secretary-General Dato’ Kamaruddin Siaraf said that RTM, for the first time, would also give wide coverage of the LTdL race through the its radio network.

RTM will be broadcasting the LTdL from Feb 20 until March 2, while daily summaries would be aired from Feb 21 to March 2. 

The 18th edition of the LTdL is organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sport with the cooperation of the Malaysian National Cycling Federation.
