Freedom Riders Asia to debut on STAR Sports

Freedom Riders Asia, a new adventure travel series presented by motorcycle enthusiast Charley Boorman, is scheduled to debut on STAR Sports, a part of FOX International Channels (FIC) Asia.

The series watches as Boorman and other bikers travel in Asian territories such as Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Vietnam and Thailand.

The show’s six episodes will begin airing on STAR Sports mid-May and will also be promoted across the FIC Asia family of channels, including FOX, National Geographic and FX, worldscreen.com reports.

Simeon Dawes, the senior VP of Fox One Stop Media, said: “Freedom Riders Asia has been developed specifically for an Asian audience to meet the growing demographic of adventure and travel enthusiasts. This collaboration is of particular significance as it marks the first time STAR Sports has embarked on a project of such nature since becoming part of the FOX International Channels Asia network”
