EBU appoints new Director of Public Affairs and Communications

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has appointed Guillaume Klossa as Director of Public Affairs and Communications.

This new position underlines for the EBU the increasing importance communication and public affairs play in highlighting the value of Public Service Media (PSM) in advancing democracy and society.

Mr Klossa’s responsibilities include the Public Affairs office in Brussels, and in Geneva, the Media Intelligence Service, the Knowledge & Information Unit and the Communications Service.

The EBU hopes that Mr Klossa’s political insight and experience of strategic issues will be a major strength to the EBU community towards achieving the best possible legal, financial and technical frameworks.
