Prasar Bharati to fill gaps in technical services across the country

In a move designed to boost its engineering services, India’s public broadcaster Prasar Bharati has opened applications for around 1630 technical posts across the country.

The broadcaster hopes to recruit 1290 Engineering Assistants and 340 Technicians to fill the backlog of vacancies by mid-year, mediamughals.com reports.

The move is part of a larger recruitment drive, intended to fill many of the 3452 vacancies, including 1150 critical posts identified by the broadcaster in the past year.
