EBS and FBC strike a content deal

ABU members Educational Brodcasting Service (EBS Korea) and the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation (FBC) signed an MOU for comprehensive mutual cooperation between the broadcasters.

EBS agreed to give FBC a new slate of educational programming as part of its public service outreach. In 2011 FBC received 165 hours of children’s programming from the EBS and the two broadcasters agreed to extend the cooperation into the current year.

The new MoU was signed in Kuala Lumpur, at the end of the first day of the AsiaPacific Broadcasting Union’s high level forum designed to produce a blueprint for a pan Asia-Pacific content market.
