TRT to host second International Children & Media Congress
With the announcement of its second International Children & Media Congress to be held 16-18 April 2013, Turkish Radio Television Corporation (TRT) continues to support the production of content and media for children.
The Congress, jointly organised by TRT’s Kids Channel and the TRT Training Department, will take place In Izmir, Turkey.
Over the three days, workshops, research presentation and specialist plenaries will address all aspects of media ecosystem for children including ethics, health, education, environmental and entertainment content, script production, cross media and other formats.
More than 40 expert speakers from Turkey, USA, Canada, Australia, England, Italy, France, Netherlands, Hungary, Czech Republic, Israel, South Korea and South Africa will addres participants and showcase innovative examples of children’s programming and program development.
The Congress will feature workshops on Animation, Short Films and Game Applications as well as on Educational programs. Academic research addressing children’s development and media consumption, commissioned by TRT and carried out by Istanbul, Gazi and Galatasaray Universities will also be presented to the participants.
Participation in the “TRT International Children and Media Congress-II” is free of charge.
