TRT School commissions French TV game show Slam

Turkish Radio & Television (TRT) has announced it will adopt French TV game show format Slam on its TRT School channel.

The show, which is celebrating its 1000th episode in France, will launch next June in a series of 60 daily episodes produced by Medyalabsinema.

Owned and produced by Effervescence, the show asks contestants to complete a crossword puzzle by answering trivia questions. During the game players have the option to “slam,” which means they can block other participants and attempt to complete the crossword on their own without clues.
