Disney Channels to launch on Singapore’s mio TV

SingTel will launch The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia’s suite of children’s entertainment channels including Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD on mio TV’s Family+ Pack, from 1 June 2013.

Rapid TV News reports the channels will be available in English and Mandarin and that they will also be available on catch-up via mio TV’s on-demand service.

“We are delighted to welcome the Disney channels to mio TV’s growing suite of content for all members of the family,” said Goh Seow Eng, managing director of television, SingTel. “Our young audience will be thrilled that their favourite channels are now available on mio TV, and we look forward to bringing many hours of fun and entertainment into their homes.”

Disney shows include Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Doc McStuffins on Disney Junior, Phineas and Ferb, and Jessie on Disney Channel and Marvel superheroes like Spiderman and Iron Man on Disney XD.
