Media Corp releases Toggle app for LG Smart TVs

Singapore’s MediaCorp has released its Toggle video-streaming app for LG smart TV users, offering a combination of TV channels, catch-up TV services and on-demand movies.

Korea’s KBS World is one of the more notable TV channels, though it requires a paid subscription. With catch-up TV, users can also watch past episodes of TV programs from all MediaCorp channels free-of-charge.

Apart from streaming videos, the app also provides 4D, Toto and other lifestyle information.

According to LG, Toggle will also be available for 2012 LG smart TVs by August, though it is unlikely to be rolled out for 2011 and older models.

MediaCorp’s Toggle app has been available on smartphones, tablets and PCs since February this year.
