BBC launches morning radio show in Nepal

The BBC is extending its radio presence in Nepal with the launch of a daily morning news programme. 

From the beginning August, the BBC Nepali will broadcast a new 15-minute radio show which the broadcaster hopes will set the day’s regional and international news agenda for audiences across the country. 

BBC Nepali Editor, Rabindra Mishra, said “The BBC has a strong audience base in Nepal, and this expansion of radio programming shows our commitment to providing these audiences with highest-quality news and information. 

“Our new morning programme will help set the day’s news agenda in a vibrant, energetic and engaging style.” 

The BBC Nepali radio programming is available on BBC 103FM in Kathmandu and via rebroadcasting stations across the country.
