Inter BEE 2013 promises to be largest yet

Registration has opened for Inter BEE 2013, a leading Japanese broadcast equipment exhibition. It will take place in Chiba City on 13-15 November.

The event will include a content forum, focusing on ‘Latest Trends in Video Delivery in the HTML 5 Era’, and various workshops.

Inter BEE is organised into four categories: professional audio equipment, professional lighting equipment, video and broadcast equipment, and cross-media.

The exhibition is now in its 49th year. Last year, a record 871 companies from 36 countries and regions participated, with more than 31 thousand people taking part.

The organisers say the number of exhibitors will increase again this year, with more than 1,400 booths expected for the first time. Equipment manufacturers will demonstrate many new technologies and products.

This year’s Inter BEE will be held simultaneously with the 50th Symposium of Broadcast Technology, sponsored by the Japan Commercial Broadcasters Association.
