Entries open for Indonesia’s CNN TV Journalist Award

The CNN Television Journalist Award is returning to Indonesia for the second year and entries are now open. 

The Award seeks to encourage, promote and recognize excellence in Indonesian television journalism and reinforce the role journalists have played in the country’s development.

This year there are four major categories to enter: Best Single News Story, Features, Environment, and the Indovision Education, Culture and Arts category.

From these category winners, an independent judging panel will choose the overall winner who will receive an all-expenses paid opportunity to spend three weeks training alongside journalists from around the world at CNN’s global headquarters in Atlanta, USA, as part of the CNN Journalism Fellowship Program.

Entries close October 16, 2013 with the winner announced in November.
