CNA presents ‘Ask The Prime Minister’

Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has said he wants to forge a new way forward with all Singaporeans.

On 24 September, Channel NewsAsia will broadcast ‘AskThe Prime Minister’, an open discussion where, Mr Lee will answer questions raised by Singaporeans from all walks of life.

MediaCorp Editor-in-Chief, Walter Fernandez, and Presenter, Sharon Tong, are facilitating the session in a deeper discussion on the long term issues affecting Singapore.

Questions have been solicited from the public three weeks prior to the forum. The list is curated and members of the public are invited to vote on the issues they want the Prime Minister to respond to.

Ms Tan Lek Hwa, Executive Producer for the forum says, “We have attempted to cast the net wide for views that concern Singapore. We have senior journalists on set to articulate some of these questions and delve into a discussion with the Prime Minister in this one-hour programme.”

Ask The Prime Minister will be livestreamed at a dedicated CNA microsite that will display Twitter comments and other information on the forum.
