ABU GA – KBS provides seven-day garnish for ABU GA delegates

Korea’s national public broadcasters KBS is offering delegates to the ABU 50th General Assembly in Vietnam what it calls “a seven-day festival of ground breaking content”.

KBS, who hosted last year’s event in Seoul, is presenting a daily schedule of events for people attending the GA in the Melia Hotel, Hanoi, from 23-29 October 2013.

Amongst the offerings is: the KBS World 24-hour satellite channel that has a potential 200-million viewers in 88 countries; global and special documentaries; a K-Pop music show including celebrity signings for fans; six of KBS’s best dramas; KBS-produced animation for children; a 3D documentary and traditional Korean music.

There is also a glass-cinema zone where visitors can enjoy KBS content on a cinema scale and a photo zone where they can take photo of themselves for souvenirs.

KBS will also present a show of traditional Korean music by Kim, Young Im, a crossover group MIJI and modern music by K-POP idol group APINK on a special outdoor stage at the Daewoo Hotel on Monday 28 October 2013.
