54th ABU Sports Group Conference & Associated Meetings

Ashgabat, Turkmenistan | 30 April – 3 May 2014

Warm greetings from ABU Secretariat!

We are pleased to invite you and your organisation to our 54th ABU Sports Group Conference & associated metings to be held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan from 30 April to 3 May 2014 hosted this year by State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, the national broadcaster of Turkmenistan.

The theme for this year’s meeting is “Sports Media Landscape in Asia: The Way Forward“.

In line with the increasing popularity of sports as mainstream genre for broadcasting internationally, this year’s theme will address issues and topics relating to this lucrative industry for broadcasters. While we embraced all the challenges and changes the sports industry have gone thru in the last few years, the conference will be an ideal platform to discuss and share ideas on new ways moving forward.

Our host T-TV has chosen Ashgabat Hotel as the venue for the ABU Sports Group Conference with special rates inclusive of both internet and breakfast.
