Final call for submissions to the EBU Rose d’Or Awards

The final countdown is underway to register for the EBU’s international awards ceremony – the Rose d’Or.

The closing date for submissions, which have for the first time been extended to all media platforms including online video, radio and television, is Friday 28 March 2014.

Now into its 53rd year, the awards pay tribute to outstanding achievement in entertainment programming and recognise the highest levels of creativity and excellence from producers and broadcasters the world over.

EBU Media Director Annika Nyberg Frankenhaeuser says submissions have so far been received from as far away as Japan and Canada.

“The Rose d’Or is about seeking out the best of the very best,” said Ms Nyberg Frankenhaeuser, “whether it reflects public service or commercial interests across all platforms – TV, online video or radio – our goal is to be inclusive and to celebrate distinctive programmes of quality.”

Submission details and information about the awards can be found at the Rose d’Or website.
