iConcerts to launch Asian feed

HDTV live music channel iConcerts has announced the launch of a regional feed across Asia from June.

Rapid TV News reports the new transmission will take into account the specifics of the Asian market, introducing a prime time slot based on Singapore time, more local programs and artists, as well as live events. 

Started in 2008, the channel already broadcasts to 85 countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle-East and Africa.

The multiscreen platform, that includes a TV channel, a website and smart TV and mobile devices apps, is also strengthening its VOD offering. It is launching an iOS app for iPhone and iPad as well as a new smart TV platform that will be available on the TV sets of some 20 manufacturers.
