OSN invests in Arabic and Turkish content

Arab pay-TV operator OSN is investing in 15 new shows, including an in-house reality production called Mousameh Karim, based on the international format You’ve Got Mail.

The Dubai-based broadcaster says it has doubled its investment in exclusive content, which includes long format star-studded dramas ready for Ramadan. Nine completely new dramas will be aired during the Holy month on its Arabic channels OSN Ya Hala HD, Ya Hala Shabab HD and Ya Hala Drama HD .

“We have made significant investments in Arabic content, talent and production to make sure we provide an unparalleled line-up of entertainment and we will continue to bring the best in Arabic content to our subscribers,” said David Butorac, chief executive officer, OSN

OSN is also bringing back Turkish drama Hareem Al Sultan for a fourth season beginning 21 April, while Turkish show Intiqam, returned to screens on 1 April and will continue through Ramadan.
