VTV picks up five new lifestyle formats

State broadcaster Vietnam Television (VTV) has signed a deal with Shine International, for five new reality TV and lifestyle formats to be introduced over the next year.

The deal includes The Biggest Loser, claimed to be the world’s number one lifestyle format, which will will air on VTV in 2015. Beauty & The Geek, the junior gameshow Junior Minute to Win It, as well as new series of Got To Dance and MasterChef, along with the first series of Junior MasterChef and Celebrity MasterChef were also picked up by the VTV network.

Commenting on the deal, Matthew Ashcroft, Shine SVP and Head of Asia Pacific said “Vietnam is a vibrant market and we are delighted to be working with our partners to bring such a selection of our most loved formats to air.”
