My Nick Jr set for China

Viacom International Media Networks Asia (VIMN) is teaming up with SMIT Corporation to bring My Nick Jr. to China, where it will be delivered as an OTT offering.

My Nick Jr. is a personalised programming service that allows parents to curate and customize a viewing experience for children around 11 educational themes.

The service is already available in France and the U.K., with a debut planned soon for the U.S. The Chinese launch marks the first time it will be offered in two languages in one market, in this case English and Mandarin.

In China, My Nick Jr. is expected to roll out by the middle of 2014 via iOS and Android apps and a dedicated website.
