DreamWorks Animation launches YouTube channel

DreamWorks Animation has unveiled a new family-oriented YouTube channel, called DreamWorksTV, which will feature original live-action and animated content.

WorldScreen reports that the effort is led by Brian Robbins, the founder and CEO of AwesomenessTV, which DreamWorks acquired last year. The shows for DreamWorksTV will be developed by a separate team, which Robbins will oversee.

The initial roster includes Fifi: Cat Therapist, Gorillaville and Jimmy Blue Shorts. The channel will also include popular DreamWorks characters such as Puss in Boots.
