Bloomberg TV Malaysia partners with Star Media Group

Bloomberg TV Malaysia, scheduled to launch on July 7, has partnered with Turkey-based media company, Star Media Group which owns Malaysia’s Star newspaper and Kanal 24 TV, to deliver more locally made content to the new channel.

As part of the deal, the Star crew will contribute to Bloomberg TV Malaysia via live cross-overs from the Star’s studio and journalists from both organisations will be trained at the regional Bloomberg TV headquarters in Hong Kong and Indonesia.

 “The tie-up benefits both sides as journalists from the business desk will have a chance to be exposed on television while Bloomberg TV Malaysia will benefit from our print, digital and radio platforms,” said Wong Chun Wai, managing director and CEO of Star Publications (M) Bhd group.

Bloomberg TV Malaysia will launch across all platforms covering print, digital, radio and television.
