Radio Romania DG appointed for a new term

The Romanian Parliament has renewed Ovidiu Miculescu’s term in office as President Director General of ABU Member Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation (ROR), for the next 4 years.

He was first appointed as President Director General in July 2012.

Ovidiu Miculescu has more than 20 years of media experience and previously held executive positions at Romanian Television (TVR) as well as at private television and radio broadcasters.

Mr Miculescu said of his continuing role: “It remains important to maintain a strong connection to reality, to place audiences first and to fulfill our public mission to preserve cultural, national and European values.”
