CCTV signs co-production deal with Noblabla

State broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV), has joined with a France-based production firm Noblabla to produce a new factual series, Messengers of Memory.

Messengers of Memory which focuses on the First World War will be broadcast on science and educational channel, CCTV-10. The show is directed by Karim Houfaid.

The six-part show delves into the individual experiences and adventures of people who were caught up in WWI. It will also have an episode that focuses on the Chinese Labour Corps, which operated in France throughout the war.
