ABU and SPORTEL partner to promote sport in Asia-Pacific

The ABU has partnered with an international sports media marketing group to promote sport in the Asia-Pacific. 

The Union and SPORTEL signed the agreement to develop the regional market for SPORTELMonaco 2014.

The partnership will see ABU promote SPORTELMonaco 2014 to its members and support SPORTEL in working with key media buyers from Asia.

ABU Secretary-General Dr Javad Mottaghi said the Union was glad to partner with SPORTEL as they shared the same goal towards sports development in the region.

“ABU members are extremely active with sports coverage and this partnership will enhance our services to the Union,” he said. “We look forward to a stronger collaboration in the future.”     

SPORTEL General Manager Amparo Di Fede said: “After the success of SPORTELAsia 2014 [in Shanghai, China, in March 2014], it is vital that SPORTEL continues to develop the potential of the Asian territory. We are excited to be partnering with one of the leading influencers of the Asian broadcasting industry and providing our SPORTEL Community with more business opportunities within Asia.”
