Singapore’s StarHub to carry India’s Sab TV

Singapore’s telco, StarHub, will add Indian comedy channel, Sab TV, on its pay-TV network and Video-on-Demand platform from next week.

Sab TV is owned by Multi Screen Media, a subsidiary of Sony Entertainment Television, Next TV Asia reports.

Sab TV will offer drama series, variety shows and movies in Hindi. Sab-On-Demand channel will showcase 20 hours of Sab TV’s best picks, with 10 hours of fresh content injected every month.

“We are delighted to bring Sab TV, a highly-popular channel synonymous with side-splitting hilarity to audiences in Singapore. On top of that, we are proud to be the first country in the Asia Pacific region to offer viewers the convenience of enjoying Sab TV content anytime they desire with SAB TV On Demand,” said Lee Soo Hui, Head of Media Business Unit at StarHub.
