MediaCorp & SingTel to broadcast Commonwealth Games

Singapore’s MediaCorp and SingTel, have acquired broadcasting rights of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, held from 23 July to 3 August.

Mediacorp will air 17 sports tournaments for free on its Okto channel and its over-the-top service, Toggle. SingTel’s pay-TV service, mio TV, will broadcast the games on six HD channels for free NexTVAsia reports.
