Vietnam and Turkey boost broadcasting ties

ABU members TRT and VOV/VTV have agreed to strengthen their ties through more cooperation and program exchanges.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Turkey, Nguyen The Cuong and Director General of the Turkey’s public broadcaster, Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), Ibrahim Sahin, have jointly proposed strengthening co-operation in broadcast space.

Nguyen The Cuong said that the partnership between radio and television agencies has contributed to their bilateral relations.

He also suggested the two broadcasters exchange more music-related TV programs.

In the past few years, Vietnam and Turkey signed more than 12 broadcast deals.
