Vietnam to air English Premier Football League

Vietnam-based FPT Television has acquired broadcast rights of English Premier Football League for 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.

FPT will broadcast the matches on its K+ HD channels and on its IPTV platform. The opening round of the 2014-15 seasons will be held on August 16.

FPT Television is operated by FPT Telecom that generated more than  VND 28,647 billion (USD 1.36 billion) in 2013. The company claimed that its market capitalization as of February 28 2014 reached VND 17,608 billion  (USD 894 million).
