Arirang TV joins research organization CIBAR

Arirang TV, the international English-language network based in Seoul, South Korea has joined the Conference of International Broadcaster’s Audience Research Services (CIBAR) as a full member. 

“Recognising the essentiality of the appropriate use of high quality audience research and market data for decision-making as for international broadcasting organizations, ArirangTV expects to contribute and share information of the Asian market with members of CIBAR,” the broadcaster said.

Ranging from large international broadcasting organisations to small and medium size broadcasters, currently there are 31 full, associate and individual members, including the BBC, DW, NHK, and VOA.

Established more than 30 years ago, CIBAR brings together professional researchers from public service international broadcasting organisations to promote the use of audience and media research as a tool to help them better understand their audiences, their impact and their effectiveness.
