Azerbaijan installs new DVB-T transmitters

Azerbaijan state-owned broadcast company Teleradio, has installed more than ten new digital terrestrial TV transmitters in the country.

It has planned to complete the installation of four new transmitters by the end of August.

Digital terrestrial television has reached to more than 98 per cent of the country. The public DVB-T package includes 12 TV channels re-transmitted over the Mpeg-4 format, NexTVAsia reports.
