TRT broadcast technology conference marks 50th anniversary
Turkish public broadcaster and ABU member TRT is hosting an international broadcast technology conference as part of celebrations to mark its 50th anniversary.
The “Changing and Developing Broadcasting Technologies” conference will be held on 16-17 October 2014 at the Wyndham Grand Hotel Levent in Istanbul.
Acting Director General Zeki ÇiftçI says the conference will discuss rapidly changing and emerging broadcasting technologies all over the world.
It will include: DTT Development and Current Trends; DAB+ Digital Radio; Future of TV Broadcasting; Future of Sound in Television And Radio Broadcasting and the Future of Video And Codecs in Television Broadcasting, among other issues.
At the conference hotel, some 25 technical companies working with TRT will have stands for demonstrating some of the new systems and devices used in broadcasting.
