Plans finalised for WorldDMB General Assembly in Rome

Organisers of the 20th WorldDMB General Assembly in Italy say delegates should register now for the event.

The annual conference takes place at the Crowne Plaza in Rome from 4-5 November 2014.

The WorldDMB General Assembly will bring together more than 150 experts from the international digital radio broadcasting industry, offering an opportunity to learn about the latest developments, discuss current issues and gain a better understanding of the market.

This year’s event will report on the continued growth of DAB/DAB+ digital radio in Italy and across Europe, the Asia-Pacific and beyond. Issues will include: overview of the Italian digital market; digital switch-over; retail and marketing digital radio, including an update on receiver sales by GfK; innovations including hybrid radio and solutions for local broadcasters; automotive solutions and radio in the digital dashboard.
