China’s Celestial Tiger extends Asian TV reach

Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE) has concluded three new carriage deals for its content with television operators in Hong Kong and Indonesia.

The 24-hour Chinese movie channel Celestial Movies (CM), will now be shown by Indonesian pay-TV platform NexMedia. Rival pay-TV operator Matrix TV will also carry CM, along with action entertainment channel KIX and pan-regional horror, thriller and suspense movie channel Thrill.

Hong Kong Broadband Network’s IPTV service bbTV will carry Celestial Classic Movies (CCM), KIX and Thrill as part of its basic pack, extending the reach of the three channels to all their subscribers, Rapid TV News reports.
