Bhutan’s public broadcaster gets new CEO

Bhutan Broadcasting Services Corporation has a new Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Tshering Wangchuk was appointed as the CEO of Bhutan’s state funded radio and television network in October 2014.

Prior to his appointment he was the CEO of a private newspaper until his resignation

in September 2013. During this time, he led publication of three books, a children’s musical album and wrote about 70 articles for the newspaper in addition to looking after the daily management.

He began his career in the Ministry of Communications in 1994.
