New products to go on show at DBS 2015

Several new products will be shown in Asia for the first time at the Ideal Systems booth at the ABU Digital Broadcasting Symposium in Kuala Lumpur next month.

Ideal Systems will showcase its newly enlarged SoftCast suite of software products to manage broadcast television channels.

It is also bringing partners from the UK and Canada to carry out Asian product launches.

Canada-based Evertz Microsystems will demonstrate its latest Software Defined Video Networking touch screen control surface for routing video over IP.   

Dejero, also a Canadian company, will show its LIVE+ Platform for the acquisition and broadcast of live video on-air and online through a range of traditional and emerging uplink solutions.

Astec IT Solutions of the UK will demonstrate the iBroadcast Network Management System, an end-to-end, multi-vendor system for broadcast platforms.

Phabrix, also UK-based, will showcase its hand-held Phabrix Sx models alongside the multi-instrument Rx rack mount range. The new features on show at DBS will include several additional toolsets to enhance the support for both video and audio, providing a ‘one box’ solution. 

“Some of these technologies are being shown for the first time ever in Asia,” Dr Fintan Mc Kiernan, CEO of Ideal Systems (Singapore), said.
