EM TV of Papua New Guinea Joins Asiavision

EM TV is a commercial television station in Papua New Guinea. Until the launch of the National Television Service in September 2008, it was the only free to air television service in the country.

It is owned by Fiji Television, through a subsidiary, Media Niugini Limited (MNL). It was previously owned by the Nine Network of Australia. The EM TV/MNL reaches about half of the six million people in the country and the programmes are now received in real time via satellite in 38 centres throughout Papua New Guinea.

The EM TV Chief Executive Officer, Mr Bhanu Sud attended both the 2015 ABU Global News Forum and the News Group Meeting in Sendai, Japan in March.
