TVTM-Turkmenistan Joins Asiavision

The Turkmenistan state broadcaster TVTM has officially joined Asiavision, the daily TV news exchange programme run by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union.

The agreement signing was done in conjunction with the holding of the ABU News Group Meeting held in Sendai, Japan on 14 March 2015, hosted by NHK.

The signatories of the agreement were Mr Altayev Maksat, the Chairman of TVTM, and Dr Javad Mottaghi, the ABU Secretary-General.

TVTM said they are honored to be a full member of Asiavision and will do everything that is possible for the development of the broadcasting media.
