MBC Korea teams up with US Serenity Media and China

South Korean television network, Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) and California based production house, Serenity Media Group have planned to produce a music-related television series and translate a novel, Journey to Rainbow Island, into the Korean language.

The TV series is likely to be broadcast in the first half of 2016. The Korean language book is scheduled for release in October 2015.

Other projects by MBC include the development of digital gaming, merchandise and a film based on Journey to Rainbow Island.  The South Korean television network has also confirmed co-production deals with Chinese film producers or distributors to produce the novel.
