ABU President met Turkmenistan Head of State

On Monday, 13th April 2015, the ABU President, Mr. Cho Dae-hyun met with the President of Turkmenistan, Mr Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Seoul. Mr Cho agreed with Mr Berdimuhamedov to expand their cooperation in broadcasting.

Mr Cho, who is also the President and CEO of the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), agreed to fully support the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games, which will be held in Turkmenistan in 2017. Mr Cho offered to provide KBS’ vast experience and expertise with Turkmenistan for the sport events.

Mr Berdimuhamedov invited Mr Cho to visit Turkmenistan in the near future, suggesting that his presence would help ensure concrete results.
