India and South Korea team up for broadcast content co-production

Broadcasting adds to new bilateral relations between India and South Korea. Both countries have agreed to co-produce audio video content. This agreement forms part of seven deals signed during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to South Korea.

Creating more awareness about Indian culture in Korea and promoting export of Indian films are the objectives of this latest agreement in broadcast and animation.

It is also reported that several Chinese state-backed agencies including China Film Group Corporation, Shanghai Film Group Corporation (SFG) and Fudan University have recently signed MOU’s with Eros International. Under this agreement,  Eros will be working on co-producing movies such as Da Tang XuanZang (Monk XuanZang), which is based on the life of Xuan Zang’s 17-year visit to India during the sixth century.
