ABU – ASBU: Expanding Partnership

Partnership between the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) and the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) is going from strength to strength in all areas including technical, news, sports and programming.

A fruitful meeting took place on 25 May 2015, at ABU Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur between the two Unions. ASBU Director General, Mr Abdelrahim Suleiman was accompanied by his Training Center Director, Mr Taleb Kadhi Amin and his Executive Assistant, Ms Moufida Limam. ABU Secretary General Dr Javad Mottaghi had by his side all his senior colleagues.

Mr Abdelrahim Suleiman and Dr Javad Mottaghi expressed their satisfaction concerning the cooperation between the two unions and agreed that such mutual collaboration could be furthermore strengthened on areas of mutual interest. Both Unions have agreed to beef up their partnership at different levels.
