NHK WORLD TV Supports the Recovery of Great East Japan Earthquake

NHK will broadcast 63 programmes related to Tohoku region. Four and a half years after the Great East Japan Earthquake, NHK stations in the disaster affected area are carrying out the recovery campaign “We love Tohoku”.

This month, NHK WORLD TV delves into the charms of northeastern Japan under the theme of “TOTALLY TOHOKU!” 63 programs will be broadcast showing the beauties of scarlet leaves in autumn, energetic traditional festivals, and more. Tohoku is the north-eastern area of Japan.
